Sat, December 15, 2007 - 1:55 PMthe first thing that comes into mind is a verse from the Gita and one verse from Caitanya Caritamrita,
Bhagavad-gītā As It Is 5.29
A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.
Sri Caitanya Caritamrita Madhya 19.149
"Because a devotee of Lord Krishna is desireless, he is peaceful. Fruitive workers desire material enjoyment, jnanis desire liberation, and yogis desire material opulence; therefore they are all full of desires and cannot be peaceful.
